The following case studies give details of some of the projects we have carried out for clients in the commercial, Mobile Messaging, Web-Spidering, manufacturing, health-care and real estate markets. A PC application for businesses and individuals to send/receive text message using PC. With email application kind of easy to use interface, mail-merge ability, ability to set auto-responders on incoming messages, and autoupgrade feature, product is now being used by thousands of users in UK.

Provide web-based Mobile Messaging with ability to send text, picture SMS and Ringtones. Ability to do load images from GIF to send out as Picture SMS, edit it on browser and mailmerge with contact list made the application standout of the competition.

 

 SPIDER/Web-Robots Pull information from any kind of website for information collection such as contact list, news articles

A leading law firm wanted to pull news articles from a news portal programmatically. After carefully studying the Tagging on nexis website, a spider was developed which would simulate that a user is visiting the website and viewing the document. As per the HTTP interface of nexis, to fetch a set of document, 5 roundtrips were made to server involving parsing the HTML data being returned in each trip. Site being based on nested frames increased the complexity for Spidering.

Spider would login as a Recruiting Agency, and based on pre-created searches would view list of candidates from Monster & Jobsite portals, and store the resume & contact details of the candidate into a local database.

To build a list for email & phone campaign, based on search parameters provided Spider would pull contact list from AppletGate, AskAlix yellow pages website.

 

 Outlook Plugin

Outlook Pluggin for sms messaging

Allows to send SMS from Outlook using Outlook Contact List/Addressbook. Also user can request to get sms-reminders for meeting/appointment even when Outlook is not running.

 

 CMS Implmentation

Website implementation

Using CMS2002, implemented several web sites. Provide better web interface to manage pages then what CMS provides by default.

 

 Web portals - B2C

RealEstate - QuestProperty

Online friend to assist in buy, sell or lease offices, apartments and houses. Attributes of a property can be dynamically created and used in searching of property. Notification sent as soon as property is listed meeting the search criteria.

This application is used by Orcim for efficient communication between onsite (UK) and offshore (Mumbai) teams on a project. Task Management module allows the project manager to create various tasks for the project with expected man-hour to complete them.
Team members then submit their daily work report against each tasks. This also helps getting management reports in knowing productivity of Employee as well as base for billing. System is well-chained such that client can also record APPROVAL of hours which then is used for billing. QAbugtracker module lets the centralization of bugs being observed.

marsCRM

This tool acts as a business development assistant keeping a track of business leads and its follow up plan Builds a list of prospective and potential customers. Communication logs of all contacts maintained.(viz. telephone calls, visits to demo products and mail slots). Stores meetings/appointments with these contacts. Reminder feature prompts for action on outstanding scheduled actions.

Candidate Tracker

Using the JobSpider pulls list of candidates from job portals. Allows you to shortlist candidates, maintain their status & comment at each stage, manage appointments. Auto emails on appointment, selection, rejection and accepting acknowledgement of appointment reduce HR time drastically.

 

 .Net Applications

Manufacturing/ Equipment Monitoring

Web Application which provides real time monitoring of semiconductor devices. Shows current status of these devices in a graphical layout. Has features to autodetect newly added devices as well as those which are malfunctioning. Gives graphical Reports and analysis regarding performance of the devices ,period of downtime and minute by minute status of the device. Predictivity module computes the collected data with scientific summations to infer which devices would start running into problems and raises an alert for service maintenance.

Provides real-time human interaction to online visitors looking for sales/service support on your website.
PCN(Prospective Customer Notification) feature keeps track of pages a visitor has browsed based on the customer qualifying rules laid down by you. PCN alerts the operator of a prospective customer enabling the operator to proactively contact and answer any queries that the visitor may have. The iKB(intelligent KnowlegeBase) intuitively shows matching questions and answers, thus saving time on answering queries
